Happy Thanksgiving from Tucson

Thanks for letting me write another blog, Dad!  And for the excellent time in Tucson!

The Casino Del Sol was beautiful.  Just a short drive from the Tucson airport, too!  Nice comfy room, enough pillows and towels for days.  The views were beautiful.  It was so weird to hear Christmas music while staring at the sun and palm trees, though.  The weather was beautiful the whole time.  Low 70’s.

Three cheers for Pumpkin Spice in the lobby!

There is nothing I like more in the world than a nice iced Pumpkin Spice Latte.  Except being able to take the elevator to the lobby to get one every morning.  That is heaven.  Steps from our room.  Miracles DO happen.

Tombstone was a riot.  It was like stepping back in history.  I was a bit unsettled at all of the guys with guns strolling down the streets.  But after seeing the OK Corral gunfight show it became obvious that the actors don’t just get to act.  They also get to stroll the streets to recruit an audience.  Not a glorious job there.  I did hit the cowboy boot jackpot, though.  Cause EVERY music teacher from Fort Wayne needs an authentic pair of boots.  And at 20% off they were such a deal……

bingo
Bingo night! We made awesome friends!

Ok. I felt SO stupid at Bingo.  I had no idea what was going on.  It was crazy to follow.  Dad and I found the lady with the most dabbers at her seat and sat with her.  She had about 15 different colors and demonstrated that some were even sparkly.  I mean, does it get any better than that?!?  She played so many games at once, it was nuts!  Impressive!
